Does the place feel as creepy as it looks? There are places - even such that look perfectly innocent/neutral - where you're just hit with a wave of "get the hell out before it gets you".

It was pretty damn creepy... but it did kind of lose its impact after 10 minutes. It didn't give me nightmares. Very cool though. Apparently there is 6 million people down there.
Fair warning... I did line up for about 2 hours. I would get there as early as possible if you want to check it out.
Have been to the catacombs under the Vatican (and as long as we're discussing tombs, inside the Great Pyramid as well) but have NOT been through this Parisian Portal of People from the Past. If I ever get to Paris and the rude folks there let me - I may explore this.
