Hi all! I got a request for a partial (yay!) saying she was intrigued, would like to see more, and asking to see the first three chapters. Thing is, the first 3 chapters were already sent along with my original query. Should I simply resend them or should I send a slightly longer sample so that she is actually getting some new material?

I've had this happen to me before and I would do exactly as requested. Send the first three chapters in whatever format the agent requests, no more, no less. Sometimes, if the pages were copy/pasted into the email, the agent might skim them. Then, for a better read, she might want a file she can send to her Kindle or tablet.

First, congrats on getting the request! :)

Follow the request. There are times when an agency gets a submission, reviews it and it goes to someone else to evaluate further, but additional materials get lost. Of course, if your first three chapters consisted of five pages, you have a bigger problem than just resubmitting. :)
