Wasn't sure if this should go here or in Sports/Fitness. Or somewhere else. Won't hurt my feelings if it gets moved.
I've been using the same brand of vitamins/supplements for about 17 years. We had a friend who marketed them and then just kept using that brand, Nutrilite (yes from Amway). Their literature sounds good, I actually visited one of their farms when I lived in California and saw how they grow stuff, and it was helping my friend. We take a multi daily, Vitamin D, and something else that we've run out of and I can't remember.
But recently we've been looking around for something less expensive. Vitamins and supplements are not regulated in the USA for quality or effectiveness, and so it's rather buyer beware. But how to be wary? Whom to trust? What written on the label may not actually be what's in the bottle.
Do you have a brand, or brands, that you like and trust, and why do you trust them?
Here's more on the USA non-regulation. http://www.cancer.org/treatment/tre...pplements/dietary-supplements-fda-regulations
