I hypnotized a chicken, once. It was a real chicken. Not a chicken as in a human who is a chicken tho, I hear we taste like chicken -- or perhaps that was frog legs. Anyway...

I really did hypnotize a chicken once. Then again, I may have just scared it stiff.

I have a philosophical, rhetorical, ponder this kind of question for those of you who reply to this post.

Who's the bigger wack...The person who makes posts like this or those who reply to posts like this?

I'm sure I read somewhere that if you draw a chalk line and hold a chicken's beak to it, it won't be able to raise its head from the line.

I think it was in '101 Interesting Things to do with Chickens.'

someplace around here, anyone seen my keys?
What I want to know about chicken hypnotism is: when you say the "secret phrase" to the chicken after they're out of the trance, do they run around acting like a human until you snap your fingers?

That Big Buckin Chicken commercial for Burger King disturbs me greatly. I just don't like that commercial at all.

I hear the word Buckin but what registers in my brain is ummm .... something else.

I heard that if a commercially raised turkey is outside when it starts raining, it will look up with its mouth open until it drowns from the water going in. I also heard the same thing happens with Canadians.

Hey, this is a bigger problem than you think up here, Rob. I had a relative who died that way!! He fell asleep snoring on a hammock when the rain started. He forgot to check the weather that day...sniff...it wasn't his fault...it started out sunny...sniffle-sniffle...WAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!

I've never had the pleasure of hypnotizing a chicken, but I did choke one once...

Are you trying to tell me you've never choked the chicken?

rich

He most likely did, but in different parts of the world the phrases vary, and so does the animal. You know, different livestock. It's a different strokes for different folks kind of thing.
