I write fantasy, but I base my fantasy worlds on places I have travelled.
My upcoming book is based on the Masaimara in Kenya.
My WIP is based on the mountain ranges of Bhutan.

The book I'm pitching now is set in the fictional town of Lightwitch, New York, 1894.
The novel I'm writing is set in the distant future where humans have been replaced by sentient animal societies.

My WIP is set in the Orion Sector of the Coalition of Planets. It is some time in the 26th century, but the Galactic Seven end up in 1781 Philadelphia.
My WIP takes place mostly in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, but has sections that take place in the small town of Clinton, Louisiana.

A fictional English city on the west coast. I keep changing, the year changes a bit too as I dabble with the level of tech available. Some times its the nineties, sometimes it's the near future. It'll sort itself out I'm sure.

My WIP is set on an alien planet that is a cross between the woodlands of Upsate New York, the Białowieża National Park, Poland, and the rainforest. Well, the whole planet isn't the same, but the location of the story is all in one place.
One on Earth and a planet in a different solar system.
