On or about 1982 I purchased the first PC for the New York City Transit Authority. It had 64k ram, a hard drive consisting of 4 megs that was a separate unit outside of the cpr, a daisywheel printer, two floppy disk slots that held 64k of info each. Cost: twenty-six thousand bucks. True story.
