It was three years ago today I decided I was going to be a writer and started my journey. Today I'm writing a story about how the last three years have gone and how my writing has changed. It went from sitting at the computer and writing stories that I was far too nervous to share with anyone, to starting a blog, to writing news story's for a small town newspaper, to joining a writers group, taking a creative writing class, doing stand up comedy, and now writing speeches and working on my first book as a co-author. During that time I have gotten a lot of advice from people on this website. I thank everyone here for their feedback (even the dude who ripped me) and their postings. I find I can learn a lot by reading threads I don't even post in. I appreciate this website.
