you martyr and shine.
I get the best (?) customized ads here at AW. It's like whatever ad service is using AW can read my soul.

Right now, my ad is for a Moog Theramini. It's a theramin, only smaller.

HOW DOES IT KNOW?

I have never Googled this product or anything like it, but the truth is I've secretly wanted a theramin forever and just can't justify the cost. Is it just because I recently got a Mooger Fooger? You know it's good marketing when you see the little banner ad and think OMG I WANT THAT SO BAD!

Note: This is not a complaint. I am fascinated by the accuracy of the ads here. They make me feel right at home.

What are your custom ads here?

I've just switched off my ad blocker and checked. The first two were Suncorp Insurance (which is a Queensland insurance company and as I'm in Qld, that makes sense) and Fiverr. That second link comes from much searching of the site to find fake authors giving fake testimonials for vanity publishers.

My ads are for resorts. Which is odd. I can use a vacation from my current life, but I sure as hell can't afford one.

That's the problem with all those search engines: they know what you look at, but not why! Amazon, for instance, is unable to tell the difference between my looking for a book out of genuine interest, and looking for a book 'cause I've heard about it, wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot-pole, and merely want to know if the review-war is a bad as I've heard.
Amazon can be very, very sincere.

Oh! I didn't know they were at the foot as well.

Scrivener.
An anti-LNP advert for the forthcoming Queensland election.

The banner ad at the top now insists that I undertake a Masters in Project Management at Torrens University. I've never even heard of Torrens Uni.

I figured these were standard, since they're booky, and showed the same for everyone. Suddenly now I feel a lot less personable. :(

Usually book ads, or once, a political ad for California. Mostly Google doesn't know what to do with me, which gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.

I visit enough sites that my ads are usually brands I've looked at for real. Right now I have Swanson vitamins (I shop there) and City Color makeup of some sort. I did look up something by City Color in the last few days.

Healthcare.gov...

I have been poking around there repeatedly trying to withdraw from the government healthcare marketplace stuff since I can now get health insurance from work. I was only recently successful in terminating so I've been on there a lot...

:p Now the ads keep telling me to re-enroll, lol.

Mostly writing related. Although I did get one just now for a tv station in Macon, GA. I'm in AZ.

When I'm on the laptop, AdBlock Plus only blocks the personalized one, but I see it on the tablet.

For me, the top one is for Fast and Easy Self Publishing, but a minute ago was for the ASPCA and is often a Nissan ad. It can be different each time I load the page.

The bottom one is for Ally Bank.

It is often suggested to me that I buy books by Kevin Craig.

I would rather spend my money on cheezies. and I don't like cheezies.
