Happiest Funeral Ever

Some of you may know I was away last weekend for a funeral--two deaths in the family within a matter of hours. But I was not especially saddened.

The local news there covered the lives of Aunt Ruby and Uncle John, and it was pretty sweet: http://www.wthr.com/story/27849048/tonight-at-530-an-indiana-love-story It runs about three and a half minutes.

I guess four hours apart was their max, after 76 years together.

Well, gosh, Maryn, it's funny that I noticed a headline about this couple, a few days ago, and had no idea this was the funeral you were attending.

Sweet story, and your Uncle John's eyes in the photos are really amazing.

I did a funeral years ago during my escort gig where he died the day of her funeral. I think that couple had been married 40 or 50 years.

Sorry for your loss, but glad you're comforted by that story.
