Well, being a bit of an imagist, I’ve always been particularly fond of Wingdings. Also, it’s almost a reference to Harry Potter’s hometown!

I like the Multinational Ext Font.

I've always been partial to font that has a lot of I's in it and H's and J's. But I’m weird like that. But why do the j's look like i's and the i's look like capital i's and don't even get me started on the h's. Come to think of it I really hate this font. I'll never use it again.

Nevermind...

I've always liked Script MT Bold, although Jokerman, and Fiolex Girls are fun

You can read it easily if you go to office party & put your cursor over the title of this thread.

Darnit! And I went to all the trouble of copying it and pasting it into Word, highlighting it, and changing the font. There's 3 minutes I'll never get back. sheesh.

Prestige Elite 12 points for hardcopy submissions. You can almost hear that IBM Selectric ball flying across the page, and it's a treat for a weary editor's eyes while adhering to standard manuscript formatting.

Anything editors like tickles me plumb to death, which means I always use Courier 12.

I always use Courier 12 too because that's what publishers want.

BUT:

I do like Trebuchet MS. I never use it, I'm just saying I like the way it looks.

I like Century Gothic, as well.

And Garamond.

I once found a font called "Monica". It's not too flash, but it was created from Monica Lewinsky's handwritten notes.

Fonts are fun to play with, I guess, but it doesn't take long before I think, "Look. I just want to read this; don't make it difficult, okay?"
