The response of the moderator via private message indicated that he didn't actually follow the context of discussion.
My comments were in reply to two other members who engaged me on a specific topic, which was not exactly inline with the intended purpose of the thread.
Personally, I feel this is unjust censorship on account of a strongly expressed opinion.
Was I really out of line?
