I received a request during #pitmad for a query and first five pages from a new agent at a very well established agency. She confirmed receipt right away and told me that she would reply in two weeks. It has now been almost a month.

If she hadn't said two weeks, I wouldn't think anything of it. I have a bunch of queries out and haven't hear back (one way or the other) from most of them. But seeing as she said two weeks, should I send her a polite reminder? Or am I better off holding my horses?

Thoughts?

I agree with Springs2. Give it another couple of weeks just to give her a little more time. Agents usually have a lot on their plate and sometimes things come up, like illness, problems with other clients, etc. She'll probably get back to you before then. If not, give her a nudge, but don't mention the two weeks.
