From the submission guidelines (direct copy and paste):
Should we wish to tak the material further, writers can normally expect a response to queries within three months of our receipt of your initial submission material. At that point we will ask you to send the entire work via email attachment ,where it will then enter our review and assessment process.
Plus there's a trailer for season 4 of Game of Thrones on the page. And a trailer for the movie Interstellar. And other trailers for other movies on other pages. Unless they had some sort of hand in these, they really shouldn't be trying to form some sort of connection.

I'd pass.

It appears the bulk of marketing and promotion will be the author's responsibility.

From the second level of subs info (via .pdf) -

"...A brief explanation of why you feel your book is different from those already on
the market and your ideas (if any) to assist in pro-actively promoting the work, as per our policy to encourage ‘hybrid authors’ i.e. authors who are highly proactive in online promotions and social media marketing methods."

Their books are hardback only, and the following strikes me as being rather odd:

Q: Does MEDIAARIA CDM publish ebooks?

A: MEDIAARIA CDM does not publish books in the ebook format. Rather, we adopt a policy where while the work will be published by us in traditional print format, the author will be free to approach other publishers to seek the: 'non-exclusive right to display, copy, publish, distribute, transit and sell digital reproductions (i.e. ebooks)' of their work. In essense, what this means is that MEDIAARIA CDM will retain the exclusive rights (including affiliated 'Electronic Rights' to be the first to publish the work on the internet or other physical electronic medium e.g. CD-Rom) to sell and distribute the traditional print format worldwide, while the author will be permitted to seek representation to sell the digital reproductions for that title. By this method, using the traditional print book as a 'calling card' that will be sold by us via online booksellers, (and via high street stores by order of request), the author can sell the digital reproduction rights of the work to specialised publishers of titles in the ebook format.

This made me smile:

Q: How environmentally friendly are books published by MEDIAARIA CDM?

A: Because MEDIAARIA CDM utilise the latest in publishing technology, it allows us to print books to fulfill an already existing demand and thereby reduce supply chain waste, greenhouse emissions and conserve valuable natural resources. Our printer are also in good standing with, and have been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), Sustainable Forest Initiative (SFI) and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC).

Translation: they're a POD.

Q: As an Author, what is the minimum that I can
expect should I be published by MEDIAARIA CDM?

A: Once having agreed to take on an Author, MEDIAARIA CDM will commit to making available for sale and promoting to the general public worldwide the Author's work through online book distribution catalogs and multimedia promotional channels. MEDIAARIA CDM will also strive, true to our company's philiosophy, to nuture the Author in their craft under the imprint of a dynamic and innovative Publishing House.

What exactly are 'online book distribution catalogs and multimedia promotional channels'?

Q: What will my book layout look like?

A: Your book will be produced in a 5" x 8" hardcover, traditional print format and the fonts of our printers are very readable. The printer that we use is a quality printer who specialises in working with digitally printed works conduct quality control checks on each book before they are shipped to readers.

I hope MEDIAARIA's website doesn't reflect the quality of their editing.

FWIW, the company's address is given as:
The Bristol Office
2nd Floor
5 High Street
Westbury-on-Trym
Bristol BS9 3BY
England

MEDIAARIA's director and secretary appear to be a married couple, Christopher Dwight Mick and Ceri Margaret Mick (https://www.opencompany.co.uk/company/06378877/mediaaria-cdm-ltd).
