I did it!

I just submitted a short story to an Aussie journal.

I haven't been writing for years (too busy photographing stuff) and -- indie publishing adventure aside -- I have never submitted anything other than bad poems over 10 years ago.

So, the fact that I submitted is my little-big deal, and I'm so pleased that I got off my ass.
