The Story (so far) of 999ghosts

So far I finished my first draft and first re-write. 96.500 words
As I wrote them in Dutch, I am now translating it (4/5 done) to English.

Set goal for December 31:
Finish translation
Add on (or big re-writes of 2 chapters)
Add a couple of smaller changes throughout the book
Re-write and get draft ready for the beta-readers

I work on it every day so I think this goal should be met

Update:

Just back from 3 weeks Florida and Walt Disney World. Not much writing time, but still a little. Might he a selling point "written while in Walt Disney World". Would it help? (Only goofing around)

Book now at 105k words and still need to add the changes to 2 chapters. I guess it will hit 110k words.
Translated so far 90k words.
December 2014 goal still looking good!

Translated the whole book. Now 105.652 words long!
Next step is adding that extra chapter it needs.
Then re-read and finalize the draft.
December deadline (set by myself) is still looking good.

Added the extra part. Now at 107.942 words.
One more small change to do and I can start on my re-read and hopefully final draft...

A little scary! What might I think of it myself when I read it from the beginning again.

110.765 words now. But it is ready for the next step.

Started to work on my query. I want to send it out around Christmas time. Just for me!
I know many people will have better things to do during Christmas, but when they are all back from their holidays and in a good mood, they'll find my query in their inbox or on their desk and might just give me that little extra chance I need....

Well, that deadline didn't stand but... I have an editor, will be ready end of July, including a query.
also started on the second book in (what I hope to be) a series of 6.
