My first ever manuskript is on its way to a publisher now. Never tryed to get anything published before.

Sent my first quariy some weeks ago to same publisher, and he wanted to read it - and now he can tomorrow *shiver*

I feel like a nervous wrack allready, and it's just some hours since i mailed it. Oboy... These weeks gone be loooooooooong to wait out...

Almost feel like open the red mailbox and take it out agein. Edit it some more, but to late for that now.

Cross fingers please .)

Congratulations, Noob, for two things:

1) having the courage to call it 'finished'
2) submitting it!

Hope your news is good and quick... but I'd settle for 'good'.

What's next?

Thanks :)

Worked 6-12 hours each day with that book last 3 weeks, so now i gone spoil myself with 1 week of doing nothing. Play some online games and watch alot of TV. Or atleast thats what i tell myself. he he

I got so many book-projects in my head (and notes on papers), so doubt it will go one week before i start with "something". But not gone work so many hours like i did now. At the end the preasure made me almost hate that book. I knew i had to finsih it soon, and i couldnt think of ANYTHING else then the book last 4-5 days. Even when i tryed to sleep. But i am a stubbern ***** - so i finished it. I knew if i had put it aside - its not sure i would work on it for a long long time.

Congratulations, Noob! Best of luck to you on that--let us know how it goes!

Don't feel like you're behind the pack around here--I'd venture to say that about half of us are new and thus far unpublished. You're doing great so far. You mentioned you have ideas and notes for other works. I say, go for it! Write, write, write! The best way to get experience is to jump right in and do it. Then, when you're a rich and famous author, we can say we knew you when...
