+1 Indie Pub!

I hit the publish button today! Before I had to go to work, even!

It might've been a tad premature - but, you know, if I sat around and waited for someone's approval, it'd probably never get done. There aren't any major issues, as it stands, thanks to the help of some wonderful Missusses. So I guess... that's a good thing.

Anyway, publishing makes me hellaciously nervous, so I feel like I might start barfing soon. So, you guys have a beer or two, I'mma go get a paper bag.

And cry in a corner.

I guess it's not so bad so long as I keep it all in perspective. It's easy to get caught up in the idea of "NYTIMES BEST SELLER!" and "STEPHEN KING FAMOUSNESS!" or Martin, or whoever else happens to be trendy right now.

But, you know, I said June, it's dated June. That mattered to me. And plus, I'm more in this for the story(s) than the cold, green cash (ORIGAMI! ).

So, I guess in that sense, I have a lot to feel successful about.



Now to get off my butt and do the second one. Shouldn't take anywhere near as long as the first, since I'm over the hump and all that now, right?

... It's 6 AM. I just woke up. Finally got approved for Smashy's Premium catalog (like a boss).

And I've just gotten my first purchase.

Well then. I'm suddenly anticipating reviews, such as "OMG THIS SUX! TOROLLOLOLOLOLOLOLO" - kos, you know, internet.

Anyway. Nuff celebratin' for me. Time to get back to work!
