The publicist at my publisher just emailed me a review from O Scale magazine, a national magazine for model railroading who did a surprise review of my first book.

Yeah, a lot of model trainers are big on history books. Make sure your publisher sends it to Trains and Classic Trains magazines too. They don't review many books, but have a HUGE readership that could make sales take off if they pick it! If the publisher hasn't yet, I've got the info if you want to PM me.
