Sat Nam! (literally "Truth Name"--a Sikh greeting)
Back in January 2011, I was approached about writing the Sikhism chapter for an interfaith book geared for chaplains and other spiritual advisors. Today, the book arrived in the mail. I'm posting this here, rather than Announcements, as the main author isn't me.
Spiritual Guidance Across Religions. Edited by John Mabry, Ph.D.
The value of this book for writers is that it details what the Achilles heel is for each of the faiths represented, in addition to discussing history, spiritual practices, etc. All but 3 of the 24 chapters are written by practitioners of that faith.
It's spendy, but because it's a useful resource, you might be able to convince your local library to carry it, if they don't have it.
Anyway, I'm providing some dancing dogs if anyone wants to party with me.
Blessings,
Siri Kirpal
