Hi, I am looking for a minimum of 3 beta readers to review my manuscript for anything wrong they can find with it. I am open to all types of suggestions. Word count is around 108,000 at 260+ pages.

I am currently close to my last edit (for now.) It will probably be ready for review by next week. I have posted the description of the book below:

"Ben and Hector, two ex-scientists of a private weapons development company, have created a virtual reality facility hidden underground somewhere in Nevada. Unwitting teenagers are used as pawns in profitable simulations broadcast live to a carefully selected clientele.

These teenagers are repeatedly drugged, leaving them with no memory of the simulation. Over time, the drug causes side effects, leading to violent behavior. Local authorities intervene when the behavior spreads to a concerning number.

Ben and Hector will do anything to keep the simulations running."

I also created the book front cover myself. Please have a look and let me know your thoughts.

If you are interested, please let me know and I can coordinate with you via email and send you the manuscript in Microsoft Word format.

Thank you.

Interesting cover, Preston; I like it. Your synopsis doesn't grab me, though. It sounds a little flat and it shouldn't. The concept is strong. Also, is there a hero or heroine in the story?

Thanks, Anne. It has more of an anti-hero as a main character.

The story is interesting. What's the genre? And are you open to swap manuscripts for beta reading? (Mine is historical fiction/crime, 114k words, complete).

I like the cover a lot. This is not my genre but I hope you will find good betas to support your editing.

I would agree that I find the blurb too matter of fact rather than already drawing the reader in.

All the best.
