Okay, seems like a trivial question, and I could probably make good guesses, but a plot points hangs on it:

For guys: when you're somewhere with a lot of (dry) sand (beach, desert, your kids' sandbox, wherever) and you get sand inside your pants and underwear, the question is one of boxers vs. briefs:

1. which accumulates sand easier?
2. which is more uncomfortable with sand in it?
3. which is easier to get sand out of?

Thanks, and my apologies for the gritty topic!

I obviously can't comment as a guy, but I can say my daughter's bikini briefs catch a heck of a lot more sand than my sons' boardies.

LOL, thanks. That's sort of what I expected. :)

Briefs.

3. which is easier to get sand out of?

Totally agree with L.Y.

Sand in the britches is one of the main reasons I switched in my late teens.

With boxers all you have to do for the majority of the sand is grab the waist band and shake.

With briefs it would sometimes require major excavation which can be highly embarrassing on a public beach.

I had these friends, see, who thought they were funny :e2tomato:
