AW meetup at RT Booklovers in New Orleans, May 13-18?

Count me in! I know absolutely no one there, and I have no major plans, so I'm good with any time and place.

Also, I'll have a car and I'll be arriving sometime Monday night, if anyone arriving on Tuesday morning needs a pickup from the airport.

I'll be there too. Haven't made travel arrangements yet, but I usually get there the day before everyone else starts arriving, and fly out the day after everyone else leaves. So...I'll be there pretty much the whole time. lol

I'll be there as well. I don't know anyone. I am also driving. But I don't arrive until late Tuesday and leave Sunday. Although, since I am driving I have some flexibility on the exact time I'm leaving. lol

I would LOVE to get together for drinks. LURVE it. I used to live in NO back in the day, and I visited 2-3 months BEFORE Katrina. I haven't been back since and I am anticipating it tooooooo much. lol Anywho, I have a room in the convention hotel. I can host a mixer in my room--like we're back in college and these are dorms (won't the hotel people LOVE that!)-- or meet in a bar or the lobby or whatever.

I'll be there! I haven't started to schedule my meals yet, so now would be a good time. I'll be there the full week, but the con formally starts on Thursday, when most people get there, which limits the meal opportunities. I've learned that breakfast works pretty well because the events suck the rest of the day away. Just a thought...

Hotel bar is fine with me, but can do something fancy-like if that's what we want.

How about if we meet up for drinks on Wednesday evening? In the hotel. We can all wear white roses or something. lol

I'm getting my tattoo on Wednesday morning, but otherwise, I'll be around. Probably being obnoxious to Amergina.

Wednesday is just about the only day I can't meet. I'm co-hosting a party (the Intergalactic Bar & Grille, which will be an AWESOME party! You should all attend. Lots of games and prizes! And we're the party known as the "blinky party" where everybody gets jewelry and cool stuf that blinks with bright-colored lights.) and then have a publisher dinner that evening. Any chance it can be a different day? I'd really like to join in.

The dinner doesn't start until 7:00 and is off-site. The last one I attended with this group went well in the eleven o'clock hour. <yawn!>

By 8:00, I won't be groggy. I'm an early riser! I'd prefer to meet in the morning. Most of the con events don't start until 10:00 or so, so there's plenty of room for stragglers if we plan to get a big table in the hotel restaurant as soon as it opens. I don't know how many of you are staying at different hotels, though...

Sounds good to me. Count me among the groggy. (Unless I oversleep.)

I'll basically go whenever/wherever Amergina drags me, so...whatever works for her will probably work for me too.

Cool. I'll be at the breakfast Thursday morning. Aaaaand... I'll be at the bar Wednesday night. lol
