I finished my book - well, one of them. I sent it out TODAY. I queried a few agents, not many. and seriously, five minutes after sending out a query I got a request for a full manuscript submission.

I thought this would make me happy. Instead I feel like vomiting. And hiding. Someone distract me please!

There's a pterodactyl on your front porch!

Which one? My visiting porch or my home porch? If he's in Vancouver he'll be freezing his male parts off!

That's why you have to focus on knitting little trousers for him.

Because it's so much warmer in Norway?

That's why the pterodactyl is there. It has laid a clutch of eggs, on your porch. Soon, you will have hatchlings to worry about.

You must train them from birth. Then you can ride them around and save loads of money on airfare.

My cousin had an untrained pterodactyl. Wow, what a mess.
Always attacking the kids, flying around in the house.... What a huge mistake.
TRAIN YOUR PTERODACTYL!

Take a pic of Grauman's Chinese Theater and post it. Then eat some MSG-laced food. And THEN buy me something.

Other than that, I got nuthin'.

:D

P.S. Congratulations on the possibility of getting your manuscript read and published.

Forget the terrydacktul, you need to rub some of that Lucky Charm Pixie Dust off on the rest of us. ;)

But seriously, major Congrats!!!

Now, get your buns back home and get to work, Girlfriend. :poke:

Congrats.

Maybe there's a Duck Dynasty marathon on. Watch that.

Or start another book.

Or write your acknowledgement page for your book. "I'd like to thank my family, my friends at AW, my wonderful agent, and the pterydactl on my front porch for all their love and support..."

Thanks everyone. I sent it out this morning. Still feel nauseated by the prospect of being "out there" like this. But I did write the story so people would read and enjoy it lol!

I'm pretty sure throwing up will take your mind off of it. And you're apparently half way there already!

In other news, grats and good luck! :D

Thanks, Snowstorm!

Next I'm working on some teenaged aliens :P I like aliens. I often wish I was an alien. It would make more sense than the alternative - that I'm just a weird human.
