I just learned that two of the agents reading my full are attending this conference in my area! I think I should go and I'm excited, but also crazy nervous because I've never been to any sort of conference before. I'm not exactly a writer because of my outgoing nature...
I haven't heard much about the Pennwriters conference, though a search of this site does pull up some good reviews. Has anyone been? Is anyone going this year?
There's also my slight and probably baseless concern that the agents in question will reject what they're reading before the conference, and then the pitch sessions I schedule with them now will lose some meaning. I have other books to talk about, though, and I would just like to meet them. I'm not sure if that's the right way to think... Any advice?
Thanks!
