I'm still in search of that first short publication.
I often find myself finishing a piece and then, in my enthusiasm, I edit it several times an hour later. Even though I know that if I let it set for a week I'll come back and do a much better job at rewriting.
This also leads to some premature submissions. I'm getting better about it but I was wondering if this is something that anyone else ever struggles with.
Or am I the lone crazy?
