Let's see them...

I always find some good ones when reading things back. My best one today was...

"The door shit behind me with a soft thud."

Ha ha ha, I got banned for a week from a family gun-talk site for writing, "The NRA's new 710-shit pistol course is popular." :D

My little sis was a grade school teacher for 40 years and always spelled alot as one word. I e-mailed she was the "worst speller in the county" and left the "o" out of "county." She still thinks it was on purpose.:badthoughts

Mine are so much more innocent. I tend to write the end of a word based on the beginning characters, regardless of what word I mean to write.

So I'll mention someone has a good word ethic, or isn't used to speaking in publish.

Maryn, very clean for an erotica writer

So true.

It's always the sit/shit typo.

I literally use the find tool in microsoft word to make sure I haven't done it again.
Switching "I sit down next to her." with "I shit down next to her." really changes the tone of the story. >>

I caught one just before it went on permanent display in the county clerk books.

XXX, having been filed in the Official Pubic Records of the county...

We had to have the client come back to sign that page. When he asked what happened, we just said, "Oh, we noticed a typo..."

I've always enjoyed the classic that came from an essay about pilgrims:

"The men would go into the woods to shoot quail and peasants"

Something from a local newspaper a few years back.......

Three uninformed police officers were on the scene.
