Looking for a beta reader for a fantasy novel of 100k words. I'd call it medium fantasy, not particularly high and not particularly low. I feel this is a fairly mature draft - it's labeled as draft 7, but that doesn't count intermediate drafts like 4.1, 4.2, and 4.omg.

I am happy to talk trade, though time is not an infinite resource for me.

I deal well with constructive criticism, and I deal poorly with being told I've done it so completely wrong I should toss it.

If more information is wanted, just let me know.

Hey Derth, I would be interested in working with you. I've just self-published my first novel http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00I42YWGO (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00I42YWGO) Flight, which is an Urban Fantasy novel. I'm currently working on the second book of the series now.

I have some time, but it's limited between having a family and a full time job. I'm trying to get a couple people I can talk trade and get their opinons on the plot line of my story and offer my own advice.

I'm new to the forums, so I'm not sure why but I cannot open your link for your chapter 1.

Let me know if your interested in working together.

I appreciate the interest! I'm afraid I'm booked on beta-trades for the moment, but hopefully I get through that in a few weeks or so.

That first chapter is in a subforum labeled Share Your Work. There is a password for first entry, which is "vista" and once you've input that you'll be able to follow links. Access the subforum initially from the main forum page (it's down towards the bottom) then all things should be fine.
