In B.C. we had 'Family Day' last week. In our case, we know exactly what idiot politician decided that a long weekend in the worst part of the year, weather-wise, with no interesting activities going on, was a good idea. Her excuse was that it was a long time from New Year's to the next long weekend. And she never considered why that was?
Still, enjoy yourselves, everyone!:partyguy:

The whole point of it is give another day of rest. There is no expectation of doing anything other than hanging around your family.

Happy birthday, blacbird. :) In the meantime, hold on to your hats, as we're moving on over to Office Party.

AW. A very nice place!
Presidents Day here. (Lincoln and Washington) They combine the two. Should be separate IMO. Both deserve holidays of their own. One founded the nation; the other preserved it.

ps Happy Birthday !
