RIP, Shirley. A real cutie of a performer, and seemed like a decent person after she grew up.

The Good Ship Lollipop has sailed its last.

The fact that she was one of the greats becomes all the more clear when you consider that she didn't headline a movie past her 21st birthday, she died at 85, and she's STILL a recognizable name in pop culture. You've got current actors who couldn't pull that off, even if they had a movie in theaters when they passed.
