Hello!
I self published a travel guide on Kindle last year, and named it 'A Guide to The Destination: 2013 edition'. I also sold the title on CreateSpace.
It's sold OK - not a best seller, but a nice little trickle of income each month. The paper copy actually sold much better than the Kindle original, FTIW. I'd now like to update the book for the 2014 market.
What's the neatest way to do this? Should I simply amend the KDP HTML file, amend the title on KDP to '2014 edition', and re-upload to Amazon and Createspace?
Or is it better to create an all-new 2014 edition and ask Amazon to link the old and the new titles on their marketplace?
Thank you!
