View Full Version : I need help with getting my book out there

I wrote a children's book and self published it on my own. I had an editor, illustrator, copyrighting services, printers- the whole 9 yards and yet only sold a few copies. I was on amazon but the cost of printing books, shipping them to myself- then back to amazon became too costly. I'm looking for someone to publish my book- I already have the files and such- I just need a printer and services that will advertise on amazon, etc...and also ship the copies for me. Is there such a pod that doesn't cost an arm and leg?

Look at Lulu and cafepress--if you are in Europe perhaps Diggory Press.

I would highly recommend lulu...their work is very professional, it is pretty easy (not terribly so, but still pretty so), and there are literally a ton of support staff to help you with any problem...big or small. Also, it costs nothing up front! Lulu takes a "royalty" which YOU set!
I would highly recommend it. They also have a few free and many optional marketing services that can help you get the word out!
