Sometime last year, Wofford College asked writers, editors, and artists to write their advice for other writers on their hands and submit pictures. The results are inspiring, thought-provoking, occasionally funny, and often important to hear.

Kit Reed's

Shared Worlds: Hand in Hand (https://www.wofford.edu/sharedworlds/handinhand.aspx)
Transcribed pictures, plus some advice not pictured (https://www.wofford.edu/sharedworlds/handquotations/)

Some of these I've seen all over this site, and others are new to me. I figured it was something worth sharing. Enjoy. :)

Very good - thanks for sharing!

I've bookmarked the page so I can go and look at the hands when I need a good metaphorical slap around the face to get me writing (especially the Neil Gaiman photo - yay for his advice, always). :)

Sat Nam! (literally "Truth Name"--a Sikh greeting)

I like Scott Eagle's. It's true that what you leave out is important (I'm mortal => immortal), but what you put in is important too (impossible => I'm possible).

That's a neat project. It's interesting to see some of the recurring advice. And I love the creativity in some people's presentation. Very cool. Thanks for sharing it.

I remember seeing this once before a while back.

It's still inspirational. Thanks for the reminder! :)
