Me? About a dozen. Not nearly enough.

According to my book review blog, 95. (I don't think I'll manage another one before midnight tomorrow...)

Last year, I read 121.

Not a great trend, I suppose, but I've been trying to write more - that could account for the dip.

Wow, I only read like 5 or 6

About 30. My list says 34, but some of them would've been in December last year when I started keeping track.

150 (with an average page count of almost 500). I'm making up for all the reading I didn't do when I was younger.

34, which is a lot considering I only recently became interested in reading :P I avoided books like the plague, but now I can't get enough. I hope to get close to 100 by the end of 2014. I would have read more this year but I've been struggling with my health as of late. I'm managing it better now.

About 105 (3/4 were borrowed from the library - yay for my local libraries for having lots of books I wanted to read!). :D

34 in all, which surprises me (pleasantly), given that my focus was more on writing this year than on reading.

Probably somewhere around 100-150. I read around two to three books a week, but some of those are re-reads.

Sat Nam! (literally "Truth Name"--a Sikh greeting)

15, which doesn't count the 4 books and one book-length dissertation I betaed this year. Should note that 1 of the 15 was the transcript of a diary, not quite book-length. May not seem like many books read, but it's better than the 9 I read last year.

Blessings,

Lots. I don't keep track. But two or three a week at least so ~150?

Am I allowed to count textbooks? :tongue

Not enough. There were a lot of days this year when the last thing I wanted to do for fun was read (which horrified me), but the goal for 2014 is to make up for that. The epic TBR list is ever growing. :D

Over 300, BUT there were a lot of novellas.

And I've been in a kind of slump lately. Nothing interests me anymore. I stopped reading at least a dozen books in December. But that's a separate problem...

At least 10 that I can think of off the top my head. And that was just in the latter half of the year. I want to say I read more, but I could be wrong. *shrug* I went on a bit of a scifi/cyberpunk binge, and I'm still riding that wave.

52.
At least 1/4 were novellas.

41. :)
I'm aiming for 50 in 2014.

I'll estimate about 35. Twenty "heavy" nonfiction works (mainly history and international affairs), maybe 10 novels (mostly literary fiction and a few thrillers), and a half-dozen or so children's books aimed at the highly selective 1st and 2nd grade audience.

Thirtysomething, not as many as I wanted.

20-something. My goal was around 50 books and I know I didn't quite hit half that. Meh. But there are good years and bad years, it all depends on what else I've got going on. I'll just reset my goal for this year and keep on readin'.

According to GoodReads, 38, which is disappointing. I'd like to average one a week.

In most weeks, 2-3. So somewhere between 100 and 150. Unfortunately, I also purchased most of them, in hard back.

About 100, up from a normal rate of about 70, largely thanks to getting a kindle. I buy more and read more.

My 30 or so would be a lot higher, I imagine, if I didn't have University homework and reading to do. Each subject comes with a mega-tonne of reading to do, generally, so that I'm exhausted of reading by the time that's all taken care of.

However, the number of DVDs I've watched is probably in the 100+ range for 2013... I need to watch mindless DVDs from time to time to refresh my mind after hours upon hours of academic texts.

71... but that includes everything: audiobooks, Juvenile fiction I read with my son, graphic novels-- all of it.

I read 78. Two were textbooks. Two were graphic novels. Three were non-fiction. The rest were young or new adult novels. I'm hoping for 50 this year. Normally I'd say that would be really easy, but I start student teaching in two days, and if all goes according to plan, I'll start my first year of teaching in the fall, so I probably won't have as much time to read as I did this past year.

But I'll still try. :)

I'm not sure. I listened to one or two audiobooks per week this year, during exercise and commute times. Print editions took me longer, and I didn't keep track. Perhaps one e-book per month and a book with real pages every couple of months.

I believe it to be around one hundred. Mostly I manage to read about 2 or 3 books per week. From those not a single one is fiction, which is a little bit sad because, in a way, it means that I stopped reading for relaxation.

125.

I'm aiming for the same amount of books read this year.

I read 29 books in 2013. So far I'm at 6 for 2014 so I'm doing a lot better this year.

I think I read 17 or 18. I read part of or most of a few more, but I'm not counting them. A few were textbooks, but mostly fiction. Five or six of those books, I read 3 or 4 times last year, so I've probably finished a book close to 40 times. Just they were all the same few books.

Tamlyn

63 books, 23 of which were rereads. My book numbers go down each year... but at least my writing is increasing. And I read a lot more short fiction, which I don't keep track of.

2014 isn't looking so good as yet. I've only read one book so far.

According my Goodreads stats page: 36. (Better aim for more than that in 2014. :D)

I read 12 books of one series, six of another and several more.

The series books were all 700 plus pages. That's too long. Gripping, page turners, but was so glad to finish each one. Goodkind was the author. Excellent author. At least one of them was very dark and depressing, but he is a page turner.
