Lately I have been procrastinating on writing, so I have decided to take a break from Absolute Write until I have completed one of my works in progress. (see everyone in a few day's or maybe weeks.)

Talk to everyone soon, time to go be productive!

You can request a self-ban from AW Admin or MacAllister.

We'll set it to expire at a point you specify, and provide you with a contact email address in case you finish early.

Your profile will list you as self banned. Many writers find it a helpful way to avoid temptation.

Alternately, if you find you just can't stay away, over on the AW Chat room we frequently to "word wars" where folks try to write as many words as they can during a set time period. If you are motivated by competition and need some companionship, it's not a bad way to go.
