I hope JComp still has the cardboard stand-up of me holding a beer, which attended the last Austin meet-up. (I wish!) It's a lovely city in many ways, and if the job situation had been stable, I'd be there still. (And our kids would have Texas accents, which is a weird thought.)
Fly me out and I'll hang around with you, and direct you to points of interest which still exist so long after I departed. I assume my favorite restaurants are gone or have changed hands, but the parks and stuff should still be intact, right? There's a really great spot to watch the sun set...
