Here's a sort of tricky one-- any idea where I could find out fairly current population numbers of Americans ages 15-65?

There are 4,541 of us.

No? Found this:

http://factfinder.census.gov/servlet/ACSSAFFFacts?_event=&geo_id=01000US&_geoContext=01000US&_street=&_county=&_cityTown=&_state=&_zip=&_lang=en&_sse=on&ActiveGeoDiv=&_useEV=&pctxt=fph&pgsl=010&_submenuId=factsheet_0&ds_name=DEC_2000_SAFF&_ci_nbr=null&qr_name=null&reg=null%3Anull&_keyword=&_industry=

sorta helpful...

ETA - Even better -

http://factfinder.census.gov/servlet/ADPTable?_bm=y&-geo_id=01000US&-qr_name=ACS_2004_EST_G00_DP1&-ds_name=ACS_2004_EST_G00_&-_lang=en&-_sse=on

Hi Jenna,

Check this out: http://www.odci.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/us.html

It lists 15-67, but it also breaks it down by male and female.

And for the rest of the world: http://www.odci.gov/cia/publications/factbook/index.html

The CIA World Factbook is a GREAT resource for information of all kinds.

Enjoy!
