I recently put together Yet Another Bookcase, and this time I kinda-sorta documented it. I got a pic taken of me "holding" it, and wrote how to make one. I make these to be efficient, "high density" storage, so the octavos (regular size hardback and trade paperback) get their own bookcase and and quartos (larger size, often picture books, and magazines and catalogs) get a slightly different design (described but not photographed).

Here's the blogpost on the local hackerspace/makerspace blog:

I've written about these bookcases before, such as here:

Copied for my own use--well, my husband's, since he does the woodworking and I do the soft goods--and links sent to our kids. We joke that if we'd all never learned to read, moving would be much simpler.

Thanks, Ben!

Maryn, grateful

Where have those been all the years I've packed up boxes and boxes and boxes of books?

Good-looking shelves, Ben!
