Ok, so this was an impulse thread. urgh! But anybody and everybody is welcome. I'm just bored on a Saturday night and my mind is wired naturally like always.
The problem is, I am about burned through my ration of brain cells for the evening.
Ya, I know, it's only 8 pm where I am but the sidewalks of my mind roll up real early these days.
Still, I sympathize. There are times when a little company via text on a screen can be a real lift, if not a true sanity saver. I mean, think of all the crimes we may already have prevented, by distracting each other and a few random criminals with our drivel?
It boggles, it does.
Holy schnarkers, yes. It's a crunch-down weekend for me.
Standard business paperwork leftover from the week, an old school text adventure game, and plotting flowchart for The Book That Is Never Finished. Only so much directive writing I can do at once, though. Casual is nice.

Nope. No requirements at all, well maybe mints are required if ya have bad breath or somethin but that's it. Then again I wouldn't know if ya breathed fire on me, I wouldn't feel it from here. haha
Sure enough. This is a lazy day, actually. No deadlines. Just puttering.
Got a dog that won't stop yowling, so I might disappear for a bit. But I'll be around off and on for a goodly while.

Yes, very restless. I have a ton of work, I'm editing the second half of Meadows, but I took a break. My hubby and my girl are both out tonight. My oldest son is in college. Second year.
I'm alone way too much. I am editing two books at the moment, shopping another and was writing a WIP before my editors hit me up on edits. I got edititious now.
Cohen really admires Johnny Cash, which was a leap for me until I heard Cash's cover of Nine Inch Nails' Hurt.

Edit: No special message there. Relistening now and it sounds awfully dour. Honest to god, I'm not that miserable a sod tonight. I've gotten through Zork to the marvelous view of the Canyon and the Frigid River. Life's pretty good.

Editing's painful sometimes. I hate feeling like I've ended up with less than I did before I started. Not in terms of word count, mind you, but the story itself. Figuring out that I didn't get what I was trying to do ... argh.
I am trying to write from a young female perspective. This does not come naturally, and I don't know if the voice is a lost cause.

Don't take this wrong please, but I am honestly impressed that you're trying. I know when I read a character who is just ringing true all the way inside every word, and learn the author is the opposite sex, I am always surprised they could do that so well.
