Writing a character with borderline personality disorder

For the sake of my plot, one of my characters is going to have borderline personality disorder. However, I have never had experience with this, so will need to conduct extensive research in order to portray her correctly.

Does anyone know anything about borderline personality disorder, or any sites I can go to that will provide good information? Of course I'll use Google and all, but if anyone could recommend some reliable sources of information, I would extremely appreciate it.

Also, what sort of traits would a person with borderline personality disorder display?

Tania, I suggest you take time to do the research your other thread raised before opening another on a similar subject. You got some good research suggestions there that will help with this.

Go to a library. Google borderline personality disorders. Find other books where characters have a borderline personality disorder. Don't just keep asking others to find the answers for you.
