I have high-speed internet.
I'm super excited my copy of Pacific Rim came! It's here! I thought my excitement would be diminished since this movie caused huge fights between my ex and I. I am more excited than I was for the seventh Harry Potter book.

I had to tell someone.

Wait, it was immature and disrespectful for you not to let him spoil the movie for you? :Wha:

I didn't even know it was out on DVD! I may have to make a trip to the store...

So I only have a vague notion what it is. Tell me, do I want to see it?

It ranks as one of my top movies. I grew up with Gundam Wing and Evangelion with many of the elements this movie used. I am thrilled it finally came in a non-anime format.

I'm doing good this year. Two of the movies I wanted to see were epic. Let's see if Ender's Game makes three.

If you enjoy or have ever enjoyed:

1. Giant robots
2. Giant monsters
3. Giant robots fighting giant monsters
4. Campy flicks

Then this is the movie for you. It's basically a love letter to classic Godzilla films with a lot of plot correlations between the more modern Godzillas (Toho, not that crappy late 90s American movie).
