One of them has been laying for a week. The other just started today. Can you spot the difference?

So I'm guessing the second chicken stored that one for a whole week?
Damn, I was gonna guess that big one's from the one who's had practice.

All you needed to do was count how many small ones there were in the box.....
Told yah! She was hanging on to it for a week!
A number of years ago I bought the usual dozen at the grocery. Every single one was a double yolk. I think that was the last time I had a double yolk egg.

I think there are some egg production places that have no objection to sending double-yolk eggs to market. When I get extra-large eggs there are always at least two double-yolks per dozen. I have no problem using them, except for deviled eggs it's a bit odd.I was once a Candler Line Operator for a commercial poultry research farm in N.H.
That's not supposed to happen. Those eggs were meant to be together, but they weren't meant to go to market.
