This isn't regarding the president but the president and first lady's son he is going to turn 9 in the story my question is would the secret service have to check all the gifts and guests that come into the house?
What would the protocol be for children having friends over.
I have been researching for a few days for my story. I'm still researching things

Have you thought about going to the library and getting some books on this president? There's plenty of literature out there for you that will be far more accurate than what the writers on here will give you. You've barely started researching if it's only been a few days. If you're writing about a president, I think you're going to need to do months of research. Not the Google kind of research. The reading lots of books and taking notes kind.

I hope that doesn't seem harsh, but you'll have a better book if you do the research yourself.

Yeah, I'm closing this.

You have to put some effort into research for yourself, not just continually ask questions a little basic googling could find out.
