Go click. DO NOT LOG IN.

I got nuthin'

I discovered this via backtracking a Google alert. The link led to a GoodReads profile, and the root URL is linked above.

The DNS is an enterprise DNS provider, one that is also used by GoodReads.

DON"T log in.

I don't know that it's kosher; it may be a phishing site.

Hah no, I may be daft but not that daft. Did have a little poke around though -- all my books are up to date (reviews/raings etc) all that's missing is number of people added. They've even listed a couple of giveaways I know are on there...

Looks like a pretty comprehensive copy.

It may be a matter of a DNS server pointing to the wrong place.

It may be legit.

But I suggest caution.

I've written GoodReads.

When I clicked on my author name beside one of my books, it took me back to goodreads where I was already logged in.

hmmmm. wonder what will happen with this.

it's such a good copy that, had I not been aware, I probably would have just signed in and carried on - i mean, when it comes to our favourite sites, how many of us REALLY look at the address bar?

Have also emailed the folks at goodreads.

Yeah.

It was a bogus site.

Woulda been nice of GoodReads to acknowledge it and say thank you.
