AW makes me crave...

And a root beer?

Makes me crave more living... can I order that as a side?

to elaborate on AC's craving.

The only time my family ever ate at A&W was during these particularly long road trips to visit my grandparents. And I was usually a wee bit carsick by the time we stopped for lunch, so I never wanted to eat, and they always made me because we still had a long way to go.

Hence, I never, ever, ever crave A&W food. I just don't have any good associations with those smells and flavours.

Oh man. Sitting in the car at dusk, the food comes out on a metal tray, you clip the tray to your door frame through the open window.

Chili-dogs and rootbeer.

Hey, no worries; it's my loss. There's pleeeeenty of greasy, fizzy junk food I happily snarfle, but if it smells like A&W, then something primal in the depths of my brain says, "Nuh-uh."

Root beer? Blech. Onion rings? Blech.

Makes me crave pie, ice cream and bacon.

Not necessarily in that order or together, but yanno...

Now that I think of it, that wouldn't be a bad combination at all.

Pecan pie with a dollop of butter pecan ice cream and a handful of (real) bacon bits on top.

Yeah, I could go there.
