My MC's best friend was previously of Polish origin, but for various reasons I've changed him to being Serbian. Originally, throughout the story he would refer to her as 'myszka' - a Polish word meaning 'little mouse'.

Is there an equivalent or similar term in the Serbian language? Or are there any other words I could use - I'm looking for terms of endearment that could be used non-romantically, i.e between friends, or between family.

Many thanks!

The Serbian term for "little mouse" is mischa. And it's used as a term of endearment, too. My husband's father is Serbian, and he still calls my husband Mischa.
