Anyone know of any differences that would matter to the author, between university presses and "regular" small presses (for a book of flash and shorts)?
I've had a book published by a University Press. It's a science popularization so I don't know if the experience would be the same. The major thing they did that most small presses won't was have it peer reviewed. That is they had it looked over by appropriate academics to garner opinion and suggestions.
