Has anyone tried the "you set the price!" option at Smashwords?
I recently released a new edition of my one and only self-published novel with a new cover and a lower price. I'm trying out the "you set the price!" option at Smashwords. Everywhere else it is priced at $2.99.
I originally published my book in September of last year, and sales have been slow (shocking, right?), so now I'm concentrating more on getting more exposure rather than getting more sales.
Anyway, I know Smashwords has always had this pricing option available to authors, but I haven't heard much about how it has worked from authors who have actually tried it firsthand.
