Now that Duotrope charges for its services, I've decided to write up the database of short story markets I've come across in the past and put them on my blog. These ones are for genre/speculative fiction (I'll do my general fiction list soon), and all pay and accept submission via email or an online submission form. Hope some of you find it useful!

There's a free alternative to Duotrope called The Submissions Grinder:

thegrinder.diabolicalplots.com/

On your list, One Buck Horror should be listed as closed.

Nice resource! You might keep in mind that Ralan.com (and last I checked specficmarkets on LiveJournal, but it may no longer be operational) are also free market listings for science fiction, fantasy, and horror--in case you need to sound out the competition ;D. Although I like the specific focus of your list, since paying, email-sub-acceping pubs are the ones I stick with myself.

I’d just like to add Flashfiction in the list. It’s good for short fiction and non-fiction.
