I've just bought my first pre-made book cover.

I checked out the FAQ from the artist I bought it from, and there it said that the photos were stock photos, but I can sell up to 250,000 books without a problem. Is this true?

Also, not that I will sell that much, haha, but what exactly happens if one were to get close? Do you simply change the cover?

Thanks!

I assume the artist is giving you the right facts for their source. If you break that number you will need to get them to buy an extended license.

If you break that number I doubt doing so will be a problem.

At istock, I asked about using a photo for the cover, just to be sure. If I sell more than 500,000 copies, I'll have to pay for an extended license.
Now, that's a problem I would LOVE to have. :)
