I've been accepted as a first reader for a literary magazine geared towards high school students (of which I am one). It's not much, but it's my first editing position and hopefully I'll get to have some invaluable experience here.

Hahaha! It's not so bad. After seeing my first submission, though, I have an idea of what editors go through, and I have much more compassion for them. Patience...we'll work on that.

That's fantastic! I worked on my high school's lit mag, and it was such a fun experience, but nothing like the opportunity you have. Hope it's wonderful!
